Our classroom has been described as “a happy room”. It is my firm belief that if a child is happy and feel that their talents are appreciated and recognized - and they feel loved - they will learn.
DISCIPLINE
Discipline in our room is based on positive reinforcement as well as consequences for breaking the rules of our class.
HOMEWORK
Each Monday a weekly homework sheet is sent home with the homework listed for each day. The students complete the homework and parents initial each evening.
AREAS OF STUDY FOR THE YEAR
We study all of the academic subjects with the most emphasis on RELIGION, READING and MATH.
RELIGION / MASS
We attend Mass each Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
